ASB stands for Associated Student Body and is the school’s student council. At the 7/8, elections for officers and representatives takes place in the fall. The organization is mentored by 7/8 Staff members. Among other activities to promote school spirit, ASB also oversees dances. Students can become members of ASB during the Registration process, which entitles them to reduced fee entry to dances, among other things. ASB raises money for its programs through an annual Magazine Sale. LCHS 7/8 PTA supports the efforts of ASB by facilitating adult volunteer efforts for the Magazine drive and at the dances.
